I think they do. I thought he was a pop legend and really deserved all this attention.

No, absolutely not. I feel it is way overboard. His music was a great contribution, but I do not agree with all the hype. I am from the Elvis generation, and he did not get all this notoriety.

There is more important stuff in our lives to talk about and think about and read about. Maybe if somebody more valuable in my eyes were to die, I would want to read about it, but this guy is not a very important guy.
